Wim Janssen is an accomplished rider, trainer, and coach specializing in show jumping, while also training and producing top hunter and equitation horses. A firm believer that a complete equestrian needs to be fully rounded, Wim encourages his riders to cross-train across disciplines, whether riding a hunter, an equitation horse, or a jumper. In his eyes, “good riding is good riding,” regardless of the discipline. Having grown up in the Netherlands, Janssen’s equestrian foundation is deeply rooted in European riding traditions, drawing heavily on European training methodologies and strong industry connections, including top European breeding operations . While he thoroughly enjoys competing up to the highest levels himself, he finds immense joy in working with any student who is eager to learn and progress to their highest potential. Very enthusiastic, encouraging, and devoted to his training, Janssen brings unwavering dedication to every horse and rider in his program. Today, Janssen operates a boutique-style barn based out of Wellington, Florida, offering a fully rounded “360-degree” horse and rider training program. Beyond training, coaching, and competing, Janssen leverages his extensive global network and keen eye to consistently find and partner the ideal horse-rider combinations. His program also routinely offers a curated selection of wonderful sales horses tailored for athletes competing across all levels.
