Little Brook Farms, founded in 1990 by Mr. and Mrs. Gary Duffy, emphasizes that high quality jumping performances are achieved through proper flatwork and hunter equitation. The Farm continues to be the most exciting and rewarding experience for the Duffy Family. We offer a year-round training and competition program based in Wellington, FL as well as the opportunity to compete on the Northern circuit in the summer and Indoor circuit in the autumn.
Our trainers, Gary, Donna and Kelsey Duffy, offer a specialized training program that includes top notch care for talented horses and dedicated riders. Gary worked with top East Coast professionals as a young professional at Asbury Hill Farm in Ithaca, NY following his graduation from Cornell University (B.S. ’76). Gary is a USEF/USHJA recognized large “R” judge and has judged many prestigious competitions across the United States in the Hunter and Hunter Seat Equitation divisions. Donna has a strong background in dressage and competed at the Prix St George level, formerly working with Olympians Michelle Gibson and Carol Lavell. Kelsey became a professional in 2010 after a successful junior career and continues to work with top equestrian professionals, such as Olympian Joe Fargis.
We provide a dynamic teaching style that combines flatwork with jumping to develop the skills of horse-rider combinations. The Duffy Family is passionate about horses and working with riders so they can reach their competition goals. We are pleased to offer our expertise and services to like-minded riders and owners who have a passion for horses.
