Lynne Clibburn

Lynne Clibburn – Owner and Head Trainer, LC Farms – Based in Wellington year-round

I grew up in England, competing nationally and internationally through the Grand Prix level. From a young age, I specialized in developing young horses and ponies, bringing them along to compete at the highest levels.

With a background primarily in show jumping, I moved to America in 2015 to work at River’s Edge with Scott Stewart and Ken Berkley. There, I gained invaluable knowledge and experience in the American hunter circuit.

Over the past 11 years, I’ve built strong connections within the sport while training horses and riders across the hunter, jumper, and equitation divisions. My riding experience spans ponies to Grand Prix horses, and I bring patience and understanding to teaching riders at every stage—from a child with their first pony to a rider competing at the Grand Prix level.

I focus on creating a positive learning environment for both horse and rider, drawing on European and American training foundations. I have a deep love for horses and our sport, and I strive to share that with every student.
